ELCOGEN’s Participation at EFCF 2024
Event Description:
The 16th EUROPEAN SOFC & SOE FORUM 2024 covers topics in the areas of science, engineering, materials, systems, applications, and markets for all types of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell and Electrolysis technologies. The Forum continues its strong tradition as one of the leading international meetings on Solid Oxide science, technology, and implementation, bringing together stakeholders from the entire value chain.

Elcogen’s Contribution within the Conference:
Elcogen presented a poster focused on the stack testing activities within the FuelSOME project. The poster highlighted results regarding the stack’s tolerance against exposure to Ammonia and discussed perspectives on upcoming activities. These activities will test the findings on the 6 kW stack module platform. Additionally, FuelSOME project was acknowledged in the Elcogen Technology Status oral presentation as a significant publicly funded project in which Elcogen is engaged.
Benefits for the FuelSOME Project:
Participation in this event allowed Elcogen to present the FuelSOME project scope and results to a broader audience and engage with representatives of other EU projects pursuing similar goals. There was significant interest in projects aimed at mitigating the climate impact of deep-sea shipping, further discussed in the dedicated side event “Sustainable Shipping Days,” where a qualified audience gathered to discuss such topics.
