FuelSOME 6th General Assembly Meeting Held in Warsaw, Poland
On 8–9 October 2025, all FuelSOME project partners gathered in Warsaw, Poland, for the project’s 6th General Assembly Meeting, hosted by the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT).
Partners joined both in person and remotely to review the project’s progress, discuss ongoing technical developments, and align strategies for the final stages of the project.
The meeting featured a rich two-day agenda that combined progress presentations with interactive workshops, fostering cross-partner collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Day 1 focused on project updates, achievements, and next steps. The day concluded with a social dinner, where partners strengthened cooperation and celebrated the project’s milestones together.
Day 2 was dedicated to four thematic workshops, designed to set clear guidelines for the next phase of the project:
Technical Workshop: Focused on the synergy between testing activities in Hungary and Finland, ensuring complementarity and avoiding overlapping tasks.
Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) & Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) Workshop: Presented the first results of the project’s use cases and explored how to link the TEA and LCSA outcomes.
Exploitation & Business Planning Workshop: Discussed post-project opportunities, exploitation strategies, and business models to ensure long-term impact beyond the project’s lifetime.
Dissemination & Communication Workshop: Addressed effective ways to maximize visibility of project results and reach the widest possible audience and external stakeholders.
The Warsaw meeting marked another important milestone for the FuelSOME project, reinforcing collaboration among partners and ensuring alignment toward the common goal — advancing low-emission maritime propulsion through solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technologies.
