On 17 March 2025, the FuelSOME project was disseminated during a meeting of the ERIG Workgroup (European Research Institute for Gas and Energy Innovation). This event provided a valuable platform to present FuelSOME’s objectives and approach to advancing sustainable fuel technologies and energy integration.

ERIG is a European non-profit association that promotes cooperation in research and innovation in the field of sustainable and innovative gas technologies. Their mission—to guide gas in the transition towards a renewable-based energy system—closely aligns with FuelSOME’s goals under the Horizon Europe framework.

The discussion enabled knowledge sharing around cross-sectoral innovation, sustainable fuels (including hydrogen, biomethane, and synthetic fuels), and integrated energy systems. FuelSOME’s participation contributed to strengthening ties with key stakeholders in Europe’s clean energy transition.
