We are pleased to share that AEE, one of the FuelSOME project partners, participated in the ERIG online workshop—an event hosted by the European Research Institute for Gas and Energy Innovation (ERIG a.i.s.b.l.). ERIG is a key European research and development organization focused on guiding gas in the transition toward a renewable-based energy system.

During the event, Mrs. Jana Reiter, Mr. Wolfgang Gruber Glatzl, and Mr. Christoph Höfer presented:

✅ FuelSOME’s objectives, highlighting its role in advancing sustainable fuel solutions
✅ Insights into the fuel pathway and a comparative analysis of different fuels
✅ The tools and methodologies used within the project
✅ Simulations showcasing fuel flows, primary energy sources, and fuel demand at harbors
✅ KPI calculations, demonstrating key performance indicators for evaluating energy efficiency and sustainability

The workshop provided a valuable platform for discussing innovative fuel technologies and their role in the future of maritime energy.
