FuelSOME Presented at TRA 2026

The FuelSOME project was successfully presented at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, held from 18–21 May 2026. During the event, the project paper was presented, showcasing the overall FuelSOME vision and progress achieved across all project work packages (WP1–WP5). The paper will soon be publicly available through Springer proceedings.

The presentation provided an opportunity to introduce the project’s objectives, approach, and first results, demonstrating how the various technical and research activities are coming together to support the development of innovative and sustainable energy solutions for the transport sector.

A particular highlight of the presentation was the progress achieved in the development and validation of the high-temperature fuel cell technology. Recent results demonstrate significant potential and further strengthen its position as a promising building block for future efficient, low-emission, and sustainable energy systems.

Participation in TRA 2026 provided an excellent platform to engage with the transport and research community, disseminate FuelSOME results, and exchange knowledge with stakeholders working on next-generation mobility and energy solutions.

The consortium would like to thank all project partners for their valuable contributions and excellent collaboration, which continue to drive the project forward and enable the achievement of important milestones.
